European Network for Indigenous Australian Rights (ENIAR)
Their aim is to promote awareness on indigenous issues and to provide information for Indigenous Australians about Europe and international organisations.

 

ReconciliACTION Network
The ReconciliACTION Network (RAN) is a network of Indigenous and non-Indigenous young Australians from metropolitan, regional and rural Australia, which aims to encourage more young people to become active in the Reconciliation movement, and to support young people who are working to overcome racism in their communities.

Australian Indigenous Health Promotion Network
The Australian Indigenous Health Promotion Network is dedicated to improving the health of Indigenous Australians.

 

Australian Rural Health Education Network
To strengthen and add value to the University Departments of Rural Health Program, by providing co-ordination, assisting with the development of shared strategic directions, and fostering internal and external networks and collaboration between the University Departments of Rural Health, the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing and other key stakeholders.

 
 
 
     

Aboriginal Disability Network New South Wales
The Aboriginal Disability Network brings together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability to: tell our stories, give each other support, create a voice for change and speak for ourselves.

 

Aboriginal Disability Network Western Australia
The Network is a group of people interested in disability as it affects the Aboriginal population. The purpose of the group is to improve the life of Aboriginal people with disabilities through a range of activities which include dissemination of information, networking, education, research and lobbying.

 
 
 
     

PATSIN
PATSIN is the Positive Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Network, a national network of Indigenous Australians living with HIV.

A network run by National Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS. NAPWA is the national peak organisation representing people living with HIV/AIDS in Australia.

 

 

Positive Women's Network
The Positive Women's Network regognises that the experience of living with HIV is often very different for women. NAPWA seeks to create an environment where the needs of positive women can be voiced at a national level and to ensure positive women's needs are reflected in, and protected by, appropriate policy development.

A network run by National Association of People Living with HIV/AIDS. NAPWA is the national peak organisation representing people living with HIV/AIDS in Australia.

Indigenous Science Network
The Network is an e-mail based exchange of information and ideas. There are regular bulletins which have been archived at this site (see below). Over the past six years the bulletins have been produced every two months. There are also a number of links which have been established. Occasionally notices about the Network are distributed to members between bulletins by e-mail.

Indigenous Collections and Knowledge Archives Research Network
The network will link, combine or integrate dispersed resources (e.g. research databases, archives) and create communication across disciplinary boundaries and between researchers and user groups, maximising the potential of research.

Indiginet seeks to facilitate access by Indigenous community organisations and individuals to the internet.

Indigenous Program and Career Development Network
The Network is made up of Indigenous people throughout WA who have a genuine interest in improving education, training and employment services for Indigenous people. It provides a unique opportunity to enhance career development partnerships and develop a stronger support mechanism to assist Indigenous people in making informed life, work, learning and career choices.
 

Kempsey Indigenous Network
The Kempsey Indigenous Network provides a safe and comfortable environment in a convenient location and was created to help make local Indigenous people aware of the uses and benefits that the internet has to offer.

 
   

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Library and Information Resource Network
ATSILIRN was established after it was recognised that there was a need for a support and information network for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people working in libraries.

1983
The New South Wales Aboriginal Land Rights Act establishes a system of local land councils and financial compensation to enable Aboriginal communities to purchase land on the open market. The New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council can own land, make grants and make claims for Crown land (but not that in National Parks).
