Aboriginal Languages of Australia
There are more than 200 Australian Indigenous languages, most of which have been destroyed; all the others are endangered. This site has annotated links to 140 resources for nearly 40 of these languages. About 30% of these resources are produced by Indigenous people.

Their mission is to contribute to improving the health of Australia's Indigenous people by making relevant, high quality information easily accessible.

EdNA Online
EdNA Online is a vast resource contributed to and used by the education community. It houses and links to thousands of resources in Australia and overseas, fosters collaboration and communication amongst and between the education sectors through communication links and information sharing, and plays an essential role in progressing IT in education and training in Australia.

 
 

Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission
The Commission plays a central role in contributing to the maintenance and improvement of a tolerant, equitable and democratic society, through its public awareness and other educational programs aimed at the community, government and business sectors. These programs provide information and strategies to improve the enjoyment of human rights in Australia, the key message being that the elimination of discrimination and harassment are prerequisites for the enjoyment of human rights by all Australians.

 

National Native Title Tribunal
The Tribunal is a Commonwealth Government body that facilitates the making of agreements among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, governments, industry and others whose rights or interests may coexist with native title rights and interests. The Tribunal is not a court and does not decide whether or not native title exists. 

Ministerial Council on Education, Employment, Training and Youth Affairs
Membership of MCEETYA comprises State, Territory, Commonwealth and New Zealand Ministers with responsibility for the portfolios of education, employment, training and youth affairs, with Papua New Guinea and Norfolk Island having observer status.

National Office for the Information Economy
Australia's lead Commonwealth agency for information economy issues. It was established in September 1997, and it's launch was announced by the Prime Minister. NOIE is helping Australians create a world-class online economy and society through its work developing, overseeing, and coordinating Commonwealth Government policy on electronic commerce, online services and the Internet.

Racism. No Way!
The Racism. No way! project aims to assist school communities and education systems to recognise and address racism in the learning environment. The project is an initiative of the Chief Executive Officers of education systems across Australia.
